What to do if the Talent Agent Doesn't Have Authority to Sign a Contract on Behalf of a Talent or Crew?

Modified on Thu, 17 Jul at 10:59 AM

If you do not have Power of Attorney for the Talent in your account, or simply prefer to have them sign their own contracts, you can notify Talentpay to switch on the contract 'Agent Approval' feature in your Talentpay account.

This feature replaces the 'Sign' button with an 'Approve' button - allowing you to review and approve the contract, and then forward it via the Talentpay system, with a custom message to your talent, so that the Talent can log in to Talentpay and sign the contract themselves - you will still be able to view the signed contract in your agent Talentpay account once the Talent has signed the contract.

Approving contracts via the system for your talent to log in and sign will save both you and your talent the trouble of having to download, print, scan, or send PDF/hard copies of contracts, while still allowing you as the agent to review the contract first and confirm it is correct before sending it on to the talent.

Enable "Agent Approve" - If you would like the 'Agent Approve' feature enabled for your Talentpay agent account then please contact our support team below.
